Cartoon Network Rebrand 2007
Fall Era
Fall, also known as Fall Is Just Something That Grown-Ups Invented, is the seventh branding of Cartoon Network that began airing on September 14, 2007, succeeding the Summer 2007 era. "We're on it" was their slogan of the rebrand. The era ended on July 13, 2008, with the Noods era replacing it.
Bumpers
The branding for this era featured real-life kids, and a general "indie"/"back to school" aesthetic. This era was created and produced by Shilo Designs. The theme song for this era (entitled "Fall Is Just Something That Grown-Ups Invented") was performed by The Hives.
Programming
During this era, Cartoon Network began transitioning away from older original shows such as The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Codename: Kids Next Door, and into newer shows such as Chowder and Flapjack which would go on to define the Noods era. This era would continue to push live-action; Out of Jimmy's Head, the network's first live-action original series, premiered on the same day the era began. Interactive programming block Master Control replaced Miguzi, while The Cartoon Cartoon Show and The Top 5 had ended by the end of the era.

Trivia
- This era is the last to be greenlit under Jim Samples. Stuart Snyder extended the period of the branding, as he was busy planning the Noods rebrand for the following year.
CN's unused late 2007 logo
- Before his departure, Samples explored the idea of a potential late 2007 rebrand, where CN would compete directly more with other kids' networks by having more live-action programs with "cartoony" elements. This included a proposed new logo featuring a green, long-shadow text design (created by Owen the Owen). These plans never came to fruition.
- The first program to air under the Fall era on September 14, 2007 was Transformers: Cybertron, and the last program to air under the era on July 13, 2008 was Ben 10: Alien Force.
- At the beginning of this era, the on-screen logo was the same as the one used during the Yes! and Summer 2007 eras (they also included another screen bug that was animated, and was interchanged with the previous one), but in January 2008, a gray, transparent on-screen logo was introduced and used for the rest of the era.
- Due to the City era lasting until August 2010 in Latin America/Brazil, the Fall era, along with the Yes! era, were never brought over to Latin America itself. In fact, they are the only Cartoon Network eras never to be brought over to that country.
- One of its bumpers was also used as a production card for Cartoon Network Studios (alternative to the 2007 Ben 10 variant) at the end of Ben 10: Race Against Time (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdIs-sGYjFE at 3:00-3:02).
